cruise control HELP.

just put crs on the vs mounted the box then the crs stalk on the colem pluged it all in blinkers and hi lo beem work but crs wont light up the dash do i have to change the BCM or have i missed some thing els any help wold be verry helpfull .

from memory you have to alter or add to the loom, here's a link to an article with a tiny bit of info on what your problem may be............

the vs had all pluges the one in the stering collem and the one under the bonnet it has ABS and AIR BAGS so i was thinking just plug and go never a simpel as that thanks 4 the link .

If its a command kit, ring command auto group.

They are really helpfull most of the time.

if you have a genuine kit, I'm 99% sure if the loom is in the engine bay for the motor to connect to, all you need to do is fit all the items, the motor, the stalk and the brackets. You need the switch on the brake pedal too which switches the unit off when you hit the brakes, so check that is adjusted correctly if you have it fitted. If it's a manual, you need to fit another switch on the clutch in series with the one on the brake so when you hit the clutch it disengages. I have done this mod in the past with no dramas, provided the loom is there, it's all go, but you need to make an extension to the loom for the clutch is it's manual.
