Only 4.25" x5 PCD rims will fit. So no HQ onward, no commy, with the exception of 4 cylinder VB-VK etc.

Most early holdens ran 4.25, so pre HQ, but early H series (HK-G-T etc) has a different offset and will stick out of the guards a bit with say a 6-7" rim.

Not sure on E and F series, but i think they are the same offset as HKTG.

Cheers.

Got this off the Old Holden site. Not sure how accurate it is.

FE - HR:  +6mm

HK - HT:  +30mm

If this is correct then HK - HT (HG ?) is very close to UC but 14".

Careful, some hk-ht-hg rims need a spacer on the rear to fit factory drums, if you have them.

HK are a different offset to HT-HG. Same for both 5" and 6".

To answer the question re stud pattern the only Holdens with Torana pattern were FE to HG. Plus other Toranas and 4cyl Commodore as Bomber says.

What pattern did the early early girls run Yel?

I've seen heaps with Torry pattern, but assume this was just a common mod back in the day?

FC rims don't fit HR, they don't sit right on the drum... something warps as the nuts are done up. So no, not everything fits everything else.

Correct. FE-EH rims won't fit over HD/HR drums without distorting them & they won't clear most disc brake calipers either.

It's better to stick to the later model wheel rims to avoid dramas, even though the PCD stud pattern is the same.

New ones are five stud.

I actually have no idea what the PCD of a five stud cruiser rim is, My comment was made mostly in Jest, but it would be somewhere close.

Cheers.
