There's a 50/50 chance, coz i have been told there was only 2 Sunburst Metallic L34's ever made! and it looks damn close. The mag colour seems to have faded a bit. Although i could be wrong altogether

Unfortunately, nope, I'm toldHarrys test mule in that magazine was not an L34, it was an SLR made up to L34 specs for testing. I believe it may have even been an SLR 3300 or 4.2 rather than a 5000. Check out the paintwork on the test mule, or at least the blackouts.

Yes blackouts are different. L34 black on the back stops at the rear bumper. They don't have black on the bottom rear quarter or door sills. A shot of the front would confirm what it is, if you can see what the go is with the bottom apron on the nose cone, i.e. if all black, then SL/R 3300 or 4200, if just the radiator inlet, then possibly an upgraded 5000. To save changing over brake booster and gearbox I'd of thought an SL/R 5000 would have been used.

One in the magazine also doesn't have the left hand mirror.

I thought the SL/R 5000's had black along the sills and under the spoiler as well?

LH SLR5000 don't have it under the spoiler, but they do have it inside the grill area surrounded by the chrome strip.

What about the sills? I have just had my sills painted black as in all the early shots ond publicity adds I have seen for the sl/r 5000 show black sills. Do I have to go and get it repainted now??

Your talking rear spoiler here? or are you confusing it with LX SLR 5000 red?
LH SLR 5000 should be all black from behind from spoiler to lower beaver panel, L34 no black under rear bar.

FRONT SPOILER LH SLR's are black along the sills, the beaver panel and on the nosecone. SLR5000's are the same, but they are not black on the nosecone, they are body colour and the spolier bolts on. L34 has no black on the sills or nosecone. The car featured (mule) shows it is black under the front spoiler, and it's black along the sills too.
