A bloke at work said that summit is opening in australia!
Anyone else heard this?
I googled it but found nothing relating to it.
Will suss him out when i see him next.

Yeah the difference is if they open up here they wont LET you order from the US directly....

I hope they've done their homework.
They will have to increase their margins considerably to pay Australian wage rates.

It wouldnt surprise me if they were thinking about it, I went to the Summit store in Georgia a couple of years ago and the guy working there picked us as being aussie straight away and just nodded like it happens all the time! They must think we're a country of rev'heads....

They are doing heaps of advertising on foxtel at the moment but its only there web site summit.com

Like any franchise that would come to Australia, it may be only just cheaper than other reputable vendors in Australia, but still much cheaper from the Us and freighted over. All in all they couldn't stop you from buying from the Us.
