Hi ,

Had a go at the Bathurst Light car Clubs event yesterday.

Never been up there at speed before so takes a bit of getting used to.

the wide open spaces of your typical circuit, are replaced by endless concrete walls......feels like you are on a Hotwheels track...but you pay if you get it wrong rather than just picking it up and putting it back on the track!!

4 runs on the day.

Last run  was 5 secs better than first, but still not fast.....there were some v e r y serious guys there doing great times.

BLCC did a well run event. Despite the wind storm and rain.

 

Anyway...for those Holden 6 fans....turn up the sound !!

Who cares if you weren't the fastest, its worth it just to drive a bit of the mountain in anger!

 

For the record it looked pretty quick to me, and I am already thinking about how I can one day do this lol.

p.s. that's it for a few months for the track....my missus came along this time....I think shes figured out what all this costs...better lie low for a while. hah ha

Good stuff Col. Great drive, and good on you for taking the opportunity to race up The Mountain. I reckon that is a priceless 59 seconds. Thanks for sharing.
