G'day All

Well we went down to the Junee Swap & Show 'n Shine today and it was disappointing on the car bits 'n pieces point but we did manage to get a good size cow hide for our lounge room floor and a hand made coffee table very cheaply

One of the cars there was this VK with monsterous motor that chugged and lurched as it came in

My pick was this sweet EH

AND this is one LJ you will see at Toranafest and it belongs to a member of our car club

When you get to see it in September do not say that it is not an original LJ because it has GTR gauges and steering wheel because that is how Steve bought it out of the showroom

This was basically after Brock's win in 72 and the LJ had been optioned up with the GTR bits

Steve later sold the car after his family expanded but 17 years after selling it, he was over in Young and noticed a red Torana up on hill and after checking it out, found it was his original car from all those years so he bought it back  :clappin:

Anyway say hello to Steve in September and listen to his story on his LJ

Good story Barry , it still looks in good shape .

Considering it has been rallied by 2 different owners, yes it is in relatively good nick

Paint work is ordinary and has a lot of stone chips on the front and had triples/extractors fitted during that time

Stephen phoned me up 2 months ago saying "you've been on me about going to Toranafest now I want to know more about it as I'm going"

Funny thing is that I haven't seen or spoken to him for over 15 months, doesn't matter, he'll be there in September and is joining our cruise up on the Friday
