Anyone been to this as either a spectator or competitor? -  75km from Toowoomba

Apparently it is the birthplace of the first AGP in 1949.

They run a street circuit of about 1km around the old town/pub etc.

Mid August..might be a bit chilly?

First AGP was at Phillip Island in 1928, won by an Austin 7. The AGP was held at Leyburn in 1949 and the sprints commemorate that event.

Yep, it was the 1st time an AGP was in QLD. ( not the first AGP, my mistake there)
