Hi I have problems when I first start the car. Basically won't start unless I give it a shot of aerostart. After the initial startup it's fine throughout the day, until the next morning then a shot of aerostart gets her going.

So I have a cold start problem, I have one solenoid not functing correctly which is the outer vent control valve, I have rung Toyota for a replacement and apparently that part is no longer available.

Any thoughts on if that valve is the issue with cold start?

I need that value either way, anyone know where I could source that part.

Any assistance would be appreciated...

Sounds like you're pump plunger isn't working not squirting fuel in.
Take your accelerator pump of and clean it out with compresed air

If the carby is still on the engine no need to remove the "AP" to test it. Just watch down the air horn with the choke held open and see if it squirts when you operate the accelerator.

Also, is the choke butterfly closing off correctly when cold?

Try Beresfield Spares in (or just in) Newcastle or maybe Central Coast 4x4. They might have a carby off one that you can get the solenoid off.
