Hi. Has anyone fitted a v8 into the HB torana or 4 cylinder versions
What kind of work is involved.

Cant see an issue size wise.
Doubt you will get it registered anywhere in this country though.
If you just want a race car, should be rather straight foward I would think?

Pretty sure plenty of drag cars have had a V8 dropped in.
WIth a bit of firewall chopping you shouldn't have a problem though.

Doubt any firewall cutting would be required, fair bit of room in there really.

Hundreds mabey even more HB, LC, LJ 4 cylinder and TA torana's have had a V8 fitted to them, cheers Aaron.

Yeah I've seen a few pictures on the net of them with v8s but never talked to any one who has done it.
Have heard the firewall may need work but don't know any one who has done it to confirm.

Old mate up this way has a HB with a twin turbo V6 Commodore donk in it.
