just started on the rust in the LC. and boy i wish i hadnt!!!. i havnt much idea on rust cutting and bogging, just done the odd rust patch fixing.

wat would you suggest i do with this nasty hole? ive just hit it with a screwdriver atm but will get the wirebrush drill bit onto it. The trouble is i need more metal for the bog to stick to :S

how would you suggest going about this one?
(btw i dont have a welder but im thinking ill need one)

I'd definatly be using a replacment panel for that. I've got the rare spares panel for mine, but just having a quick look, they seem a bit long for the job. They really need about an inch taken outta them.

My lc had the same rust as yours.
If your not going to keep the car, bog it, if not do it properly and completely cut it all out.
You need to get hold of a mig or get someone to do it for you.
I can almost guarentee if there's rust on the panel you can see there will be rust on the inner along with the beaver too.
Check out my pics below of my repairs.
