Can you tell me what size threads the fittings (tube nuts) are on a 6 cyl LJ 1) where the steel brake lines meet the rubber hoses on the front, 2) where the short steel lines screw into the calipers and other end of the rubber hoses,  3) where the steel line screws into the "T" piece at the diff and the wheel cylinders. Not sure but I would imagine them to be all the same size. Can you also confirm that the steel brake line is 3/16" OD.  THANKS.

Ray

The thread size of the 3/16" flare nuts appears to be 3/8" NPT24. Yes the connections you inquire about are all the same size.

Brake pipes are 3/16" OD bundy tube.

Should be 3/8" UNF 24tpi, 3/8"npt is 18tpi.

^^^ Correct.

Also it should be mentioned that 3/8"NPT is 0.675" (over 17mm) in diameter.

There are also some larger sized tube nuts, for example at the master cylinder. Can I assume these to be 1/2" x 24 UNF threads?
