I was advised that the NC category was booked up but a couple of spots have came up.

Was going to run FOSC - then wakefield but have dropped wakefield as i can go anytime. Fosc to run the car in.

45 years in the waiting for this one. will be camping at the event.

there is also regularity available

have a few things to sort on the car. 6 weeks to get ready.

i don't give a shit if Im last, slow or just get in the way

as big kevs say's " i'm excited"

You will have a ball grant, as long as you get on the track and tick that box everything else will just be secondary. Hopefully I'll be up there again this year if not competing I'll be up there cheering you on. Did you get your new motor finished ?

Well got some bad news today on the entry. I will not be eligible as i am sill on my " p"s . So whilst i can submit the entry and fees paid at scrutineering i will not be allowed to race.

I have been told that i need 5 full race meets and one day of flagging to go up to the next level off P's.

I'm going to make some calls tomorrow and see where i get to,

the issue is that any ASSA run events don't count and hence you need to run  a CAMS event to get your log booked signed. with the ASSA event i would qualify.

Yes chris just got the old motor freshened up and she's back in - let me know if you hear anything about the rods.

bit gutted on this but there the rules.

Hi grant that sux, come and flag at the Wakefield park round on March 5/6 or even race in the IPRA event. Don't need to be a member entries close on the 29/2, just need to get off those P plates. We have rounds every six weeks. Round 2 is at SMSP again if not racing just do the flags ???

I would but Im away that weekend for three days.

i would have done about 12 events and sort of 19 days of  total racing / regularity including practices * friday " since i started 15 mths ago

there is a dispensation form i can put in with CAMS for a early license upgrade BUT i need some referees to sign off.

I'm still trying - i have two officials at this stage that will sign BUT i need 4.

Bummer !! Well hopefully you can get it sorted, try and do as many cams sanctioned events this year so you can get signatures. I believe it is 3 races and a flag day, it seems ridiculous but if you have to .... That way you have no reasons to not be able to race at your selected events. Once you have your NC National Competition licence you will have no troubles. Other than an international event which requires an upgrade. Good luck and see you soon.

Right - march hare to big bopper - I'm stil in the game big bopper !!

Were still in, I rang cams and will be putting in a dispensation for a one off event license upgrade to run the event, BUT will still have to do the flag event at another meeting after this.

problem is that i need to run this weekend and also wakefield to get my book singed off and then submit references to  with the application.and pay $250

yeah it's on.

jesus it's going to be an expensive month.

Good work around there Grant.
You should write a book of all the things you have learnt over the last few years
( like that guy with the pink LJ did )
