So did the commy actually tap you, or did you just flick off?

Looks like you got a tap.

Cheers.

Yep got hit in the rear 1/4 panel, he came up and apologised at the end of the race. I just explained to him that a 1600kg commodore will never stop faster than 1100kg Torana especially on a 34 degree day. Anyway yep it was good fun next round is at SMSP on April 9/10. I can't seem to add photos to the page, once I figure it out I'll put some up. Engine specs are 202 Irving head 48mm dellortos, 4sp single rail, floating axle banjo diff AP calipers up front and R32 rear calipers out back. Pretty simple all in all but I just have to drive the wheels off it !!

It's been my dream Gene, I've owned the car since 1998, 17 years Old when I bought it now some 18 years later and a few developments she is getting to where I need it. I'm building a roller motor for this years IP Nationals at Phillip Island then it will probably be nearly the ultimate car for me, I still need to save up for some good shock absorbers then I will be happy with it all.

Nothing since last year, hopefully I will have the roller motor in by the next time I'm there in August. That should make a big difference to lap times, it's still got the motor we've had for the last 3 years in there. It's not bad at all but it's a conservative motor, the next one will be a bit more angry. Hopefully have a bit more HP so I can be more competitive down the long straights at SMSP and Phillip Island, Bathurst etc
