Can anyone decode this model - VFG8EC80B48.

Its obviously a VF Holden...but whats the rest?

dont think so Paul...its not a VIN, I think its a model or ordering number?

Too short to be a VIN... not 17 digits

Also the VF starts 6G1F

 

Not sure what that number is exactly

Where did you find the number Col? Commodore Identification plate, Holden dealer paperwork, log book etc?????

Yeah I had a search but nothing would show with the number that short. Then nothing lined up with the decoders even starting 6G1F

VF appears obvious but perhaps not so really.

C80 and B48 look like production option codes.

G8E was the company executive type V8 FG Falcon that was never born.

ha ha ....
Im looking at a SS Ute ( new) ...happened to see some pricing info laying around...but without knowing what that number
actually represents...its meaningless.

I'm assuming its for a VF2, SS , auto ute, with the "Black edition" pack.....but dont know....Mr Google's got nuffin either.
