I have a 6 cyl banjo and want to put a fine spline centre in it, Is there any differance between a 6 and 8 cyl centre or are they the same.

the yoke is diffrent, if it's a fine spline v8 center you can put a 6cyl yoke on it and it will bolt straight in...... same goes the other way

Or just fit fine-spline side gears to your existing centre. They don't need any special tools.
