Silver bit is late LX early UC
Black bit is HX
HYbrid calipers
Common conversion
Needs HQ-WB stubs though and HQ - WB disc

No
You use the Torana so the hose inlet is at the top as normal
On the HX its at the bottom and you need a long stuipid hose that usually fouls on the tyre

The caliper is flexy , creaks and groans and is generally a pile of shit
Most OE single piston calipers are
My personal opinion on the Holden range of calipers would be to use the Cast iron GIRLOCK calipers from the HQ-J series commericals and 350 cars
Biggest pad area of the lot
But heavy
Failing that the PBR cast iron caliper used on HQ-HJ
Kidney shaped pads...... lots of compounds avail
Also abit heavy but I believe will fit forward of stub on toranas with HQ stubs
Almost identical to L34 caliper but hose inlet in different spot.
Both these still need the silly long hose though
The Alloy calipers are too flexy
Or get a better system altogether
