I am wanting some part numbers for Holden V8 water pumps. In particular, the ones from the HKTG parts book, the HQ parts book, the LX parts book and the VH parts book. Any diagrams from the parts books would also help me a lot. Cheers. Shiney.

Hi Laurie,

These pics are from the LX parts book. Sorry for the stupidphone images, I don't have a scanner at home. I think they are still legible.

Cheers,

Liz

The ones I have listed are....

LH 2824553

LX 2824553

HX 2824553 withOUT ADR27A

HX 9936233 with ADR27A

HZ 9936233  WITH EVAP AND EXH EMISSION CONTROL

HZ 2824553  WITH EVAP EMISSION BUT NOT EXG EMISSION

HZ 2824553  WITHOUT EVAP AND EXH EMISSION CONTROL

All supersede back to 92009639 which is the part # Rares keeps them under.

Now... aftermarket

Standard pump listed for all V8's is the 808. Mounting face to pulley front face is 94mm

Cars listed with a fan clutch list an 808C. This is from a Repco catalogue from 1995.... no other listing in aftermarket catalogues for a 'C' pump

Theres whats listed as a jumbo pump which has a mount face to pulley front face as 110mm. WP1000

Jumbo is listed for square edged fan blades in the WB and the 808 is listed for round edge blades.

I believe however the 808C became the WP1000 and the 808C was deleted.

Ther used to be a WP803 listed also... I believe this had different outlets for heater hoses... and was dumped in favour of the 808.

Confused yet ?

I've been looking into these as well.
First pic is the HT pump with two outlets.
(pic from OldHolden)
Next progression in type is the single outlet with the second outlet cast blind.
Thirdly a single outlet.
The Cams papers for L34 refer to a new pump and a revised front cover.
Then the parts book for LH has separate listings for 5 litre and L34.
The photo in the LH book shows a smallblock Chev pump so isn't any help.

Edit: Liz can you post the previous page of the LX book please?

Hi Arrimar,

I can but it is just the exploded view of a 6 cylinder water pump, so probably not of use, unless that is what you are specifically after. Let me know.

Cheers,

Liz

Hi Liz, it looked like page 100, which you kindly posted, was a continuation of page 99.
