The photo with the boats in the background is my car when the guy in NZ owned it.
Where did you get the photo and have you got ony other photos or details of it.
If you like yellow hatchbacks, then you would love my A9Xs! Both yellow and both beautiful. I think you're in Sydney, come to the Muscle Car Masters and I'll show you over them.
Sorry you had to sell your car - but one day you'll own another. Relax.

Is doubly a word? hmm too many drinkies for me for sure!
Oh, YellowA9Xs, I got one!! Not an SS, but a butt ugly, plain jane, yella' hatch.
A sunbudgie originally I think. S t i l l waiting on funds to get it to Sydney from VIC. Closer, closer.... I have an SS steering wheel now, and side mirrors...
And yes I have more pics, they were sent to me by Welby. Sweet ride.
I will take you up on the masters! Keen to meet a few of the locals, wish I could go this Friday to the Steakhouse, but I will be in VIC on business.
- know where I'd rather be...

Bastard.
I have some photos of your car. Was negotiating with the owner on delivery when he told me it was sold. Congratulations. Genuinely.
Are you planning on putting it's race livery back on?
Happy to pass on the photo's. Would imagine you would already have them though.

There are 2 hatch photos in that post of cars that were sold while i was checking on their authenticity.
REDA9X will back me up on that.
This was just befor the prices went skyward by rocket. Now everytime i take my standard hatch out, someone leaves a card or phone number under the wiper.
But they are still out there, it just takes patience and perserverance to find 'em
Can't win em all.

It is in full Group C spec and ready to race - it is the 1977 Janson / Perkins car that finished 3rd.
1st up is the Muscle Car Masters.

That's why i asked if you were doing the race livery.
Best of luck with it.

If you are looking for further photos of your hatch while in NZ check out:
http://www.groundsky.co.nz
and search under Douglas Anderson, there are ten or so on there at the Domain Hillclimb etc and you can get access to more. Also for everyone else there are some great photos of other race Toranas in the Targa etc in NZ
The photo you were referring to earlier in this topic would have been at Orams Marine in Auckland. Let me know if I can help out with more photos - I may have some somewhere.

I know the guy is trying to make a living......
- pity they all have SAMPLE plastered all over them.
There's a heap of lovely Torries on that site.

Sorry yellow, a little confusion. The pic of the Yellow A9X in the boat yard is not the Jansen Perkins car. It was the Jansen/ Brock car, crashed in practice at Bathurst and not raced.
It was restored by Rob Hands and sold to Douglas Anderson of NZ.
