Need some help just put a new scorcher coil to match my electronic dizzy on my 202 with triples
Did the bridge wires at ignition now have constant 12v at coil but car won't run have now tried to start all over with timing can get it to fire and ideal ruff but as revs drop fuel spews out of 2nd and 3rd Carby then car dies I have no idea what has been done to motor so not sure of any internals I know it is a very worked motor that run fine b4 I swapped coil and bridged wires any help much appreciated

Did you JUST SWAP THE COIL.
Or did you swap the coil and distributer?

So if it was running fine and all that you changed was the coil then we can pretty well negate the chance of the dizzy being 180 out or there being an issue with the carbs or anything else in the engine.
Im guessing the new coil is either not wired correctly or faulty from new. Have you tried refitting the old coil to see what happens?

Thinking I will just give it to a mechanic
Anyone got recommendations for a good tuner in Melbourne

Dead set dude simple things first, if it was working before but not now try to return it to its previous state and see if it still works.
Sorry I cant give you a definite answer im just trying to walk you through the same steps the mechanic will go through sans the $120ph.

What exactly do you mean by fuel spews out of the middle and rear carbs?
What type of carbs do you have?
A correctly functioning carburetor should not have fuel spewing out of it.
Sounds like your engine is flooding however I could be wrong.

Yep s pack middle and rear carbs it comes out the over flow hole on the Side they are stromburgs
I to think it is flooding due to timing but can't get it to start until the timing gets to a point then the fuel spits out

as per Bomber's post....start with the real simple things...
- does the HT lead from the coil go to the centre of the dizzy?
- are the plug leads on in the correct sequence?
- has the dizzy slipped, and is out to buggery?....had this once , and it was firing the spark to the cylinder with the valves still open, thus both igniting the fuel mix and pumping it back out the carb.( result was foam air filters on fire)

I've tried everything bomber just don't want to stuff anything up had a mate put a rod through the block with a wrongly timed 202

Timing has nothing to do with a carburetor flooding. Fuel should not be spilling out of the fuel bowl vent holes. The float levels are set too high or the needle and seats are not shutting off the fuel supply properly.
A mate had the centre carb flooding on his XU1. The car ran fine once he got it started but getting it started was a bastard when it was stone cold.
A simple needle and seat replacement fixed the problem.
