Hi all, what's the best way to hold the hinge pin in after the parcel shelf tab has broken off ,there's only about 2mm if that ,on the end of the pin so a split pin is out of the question, has anyone else done this?im thinking cutting a groove around the very end on a lathe and using a circlip any thoughts?

Hey Paul, the circlip groove sounds like a great idea. Alternatively spin up some longer hinge pins on the lathe if the original pins are a bit short.

I had some pins made up at a local engineering shop slightly longer with circlips ,turned out really good ,made slightly longer with circlips .

These work well when your rear shelf lugs break off ,because of the length there's no room for a split pin.
