The powder on butyl tape must work wonders...

When you use the glass setting tape it is known as semi cures rubber .
The trick is to immerse the rubber in kerosene before use .
It the becomes super slippery and then goes around the corners perfectly .
The glass slides straight straight in to the frame with no effort at all .
Once the kero dries the rubber it them becomes cured .

I didn't use Kero,I didn't need to ,it went in ok without it.The rubber tends to shrink back and gives it a tight fit.When you use the glass setting tape it is known as semi cures rubber .
