Made over 1000 hp at the tyres.

572 BBC, big blower and methanol. Extremely loud. About half the volume of the burnout car!
Still leaves him over 500 hp short of Eddie Tassones 1570 at the tyres, made on pump fuel with Australia’s best ever engine, the mighty 383 Holden with a pair of hair driers....

Is very nice.
Found an old friend out on the cruise ring.

Saw a couple of others that I failed to snap.
So far hatches are outnumbered by cortinas and centuras!
Even the Torana club display was impoverished with a solitary green machine, the same one I had seen earlier.

I do think their little locust Tories put on the best display.

United colours of Benetton revived!
They did have their display in correct proportion though with boxes outnumbering locusts by more than 2:1.

Yes spent 4 days there myself. A very hot 4 days to say the least. Not as good as past events but worth the time spent there. Seems things haven't changed much and probably need to evolve a bit since i have been going since day dot.
Will enter another car next year and probably for the last time..
Got to see my very first 5000 which was the Deauville Blue 5000 Rexy snapped above. Had it back in the early 90's and sold it to buy my first house. Good to see it still looks schmick so many years on. And the current owner is a very nice fellow :-). Glad it is over for another year...

I did over half a dozen small one's myself got plenty of warnings but didn't get kicked out.
I have only found one video on YouTube of me doing a couple of skids on tough street, but didn't take any myself I didn't even take a photo of my car but I saw heaps of other people taking pictures of it. Did any one here take any photos of a papaya SS? Cheers Aaron
