I'm currently building a replica HX Sandman ute as a cruiser/tow car & looking for information about the fitting of a 4 pinion centre to the Holden 10 bolt housing. Google gives little bits of info but not a great deal. I know I can slide a Borg Warner under with a few mods but I would like to keep the 10 bolt but with an LSD that parts are still available.

Contact Diff Trans at Windsor. I seem to remember that they use to fit BW gears & hemispheres into Holden 10-Bolt diffs.

Thanks Dr Terry, I thought that the complete B/W hemisphere was installed with some machining but wasn't 100% sure. I remember hearing a story that the 10 bolt was originally made by B/W but altered(hemisphere offset, extra bolt in the crown wheel etc.) so that it didn't resemble the diff that was fitted to the Fords & Valiants. It's been a while but I think the bearings & seals are the same.

Only A $250 Conversion when I got mine done. But that was about 6-7 years ago.
