My seats require a bit of work with trim and incline adjustment (seat back can move quiet a bit fwd/back), the plastic bits at the pivots are broken/pieces cracked off.

Does anyone restore them or is it worth restoring them?
Should I find some seats in better condition than mine and retrim them?

Cheers
Brad.

just replace the plastic covers. get a long 1/2" socket and grind it down to fit and replace them

The screws (phillips head) do not retain the plastic side bits, although you will be able to do bolts up tighter, granted. I always thought there was a platic bit undert the screws to hold em on till I pulled one apart. The plastic hinges have a solid bit of plastic, that fits into a hole in the steel hinge body. Just stick a dob of glue on this bit, shove into the hole, and forget for 18 months. Unfortunately with the buckle type seat belts, do em too tight and it pops em off.

^ more of those same magic mushies when they came up with the square headlight idea.

I have no idea what you are talking about with screws lol, if you undo the four bolts on each side the whole assy comes away. chase the wreckers for better ones and swap bits round , you will do ok
