Hey, Not sure what cam is in the stroker, my mates mate still has the paper work, so i have to track that down still...Matty, what cam is in this stroker as that will give you an idea of what size stall converter to use, other things to consider is the diff ratio and the size of your wheels.
For you Matty i think it's cheaper and easier to put in a freshened up stage 2 Trimatic in, later on when you have more money and if you want to you can go back to a manual (supra), nothing is permanent mate.
I to find it hard to beleive that anyone can get a trimatic to handle 700hp especially for $400, but if so find out who built it as it would be interesting to know.
One other thing Matty, i'm not to sure on how long the banjo will last you with the stroker and a shift kitted auto, just something to think about anyway.
Yeah im thinking the same thing with the manual later down the track, if i can sell the m21 and get a trimatic etc, it wont end up costing me to much to do the swap, prob a few hundred bucks.
Yeah as gary has just said, its a mate of his that can get the box for me cheaper, so its not normally 400! lol just lucky!
Hey Cohen! Get me that 3.55!!!

Remember - you get what you pay for. Don't try doing it too cheap or cut corners.... you'll only end up re-doing it in 6 months time, and end result will be you get to spend twice as much... Spend up front and do it once!
Also - you can have plenty of fun in a nice auto with a suitable high-stall and good shifter. And if you're looking to get more into drag racing, it will help both your times and your burnouts!
Chat to lots of auto places, get opinions, and discuss your hi-stall with someone like TCE....
Keep us posted!
