a big thanks goes out to all contributing forum users.thank you all for inspiration, excitment, technical advice, entertainment and especially motorvating me indirectly to pull the finger out.
here is a photo and a link of whats been filling my nans garage since i was 19 yrs old.(34 now) my body rusted out so i bought a bare shell off the local dodgy wanker(mazda rx nut).wouldnt advise anyone else to as its been a long road swapping my good bits over finding out bits are bent and having stuff undone and redone.its been sitting ,painted since 94. engine is fresh now .have a short 9 inch lsd with widened gts rims ready.boomfunk(forum member)supplied the hoodlining. its gone to the repair shop today to have the chassis rail pulled and a new radiator support and battery tray fitted.(dropped a ball joint prior to my purchase).
the thing i like the best about it is it if i want to drill a hole in it i can without fear of unoriginality.mind you id love an L34 asmuch as the next guy.
on saturday i leave for europe,so wont be around for 8 weeks, dont go letting the quality of this forum slide while im away,be mindful that newbies arent up to speed, share the info amongst one another and keep up the motorvation for the resto guys and girls.thank you all once again for the last 8 months.photobucket link

Nice project mate. Love both sets of wheels, I take it the GTS wheels will be on the final product? Very tidy interior too, I like that!
What are the 'blue dots' in the taillights? I've seen them before but never known what their purpose is.
Bet your neighbours got a nice surprise when she rolled out onto the road after 12 years

I can see the wait will be worth it. Finishing off is always the hardest as it feels like you will never get there. On the down hill run now

blue dots are an old hotrod thing, you see em on harleys too.when the brakes are applied theres a blue tinge whilst the red still shows.thought it was cool way back then, they can stay for the time being.the dragway pro wheels will be available in a few months ,they arent needed anymore.
