Ive got a yella terra head and i would like to know what it was off any help would be appreciatted the casting no is 7429461 cheers in advance :spoton:

Hi Guys.

That head casting number was used on HD 179 & HR 186 engines.

It has the normal open combustion chamber, adjustable rocker gear & the older style large hex spark plugs.

I'll mention again for the record that Yella Terra heads have NO ID markings (casting numbers, stamped numbers etc) part from the later alloy heads. The only way to ID them is by the YT valves fitted (in most cases) or by the minor portwork and chamber reprofiling.
