I was told by a guy in Research Victoria that used to make "one off" copper and copper composition head gaskets for historic cars to use Silverfrost spraypaint on the one he made for my Lotus Twin Cam engine. Did this, had no issues. He also told me that Hylomar that is sold as invented by Rolls Royce back in day dot has fallen out of favour as after a while it develops little tracks through it and leaks are the result. FWIW..................

Are you planning to o ring the block or head if you use a copper gasket?

I ran copper gasket, with an o-ringed head and receiver grooves in the block on my 202 for years. Was fine, except for some slight drooling of coolant from corner of head... I ran some chemiweld through it and this stopped... This was for a nitrous setup... These days I would just go MLS though unless very high boost etc was planned.
