Hi all,

I'm just wondering what the rims locate on on LH and LX's...Ie do all lh/x torries locate on the studs or is just mine that does...My LX has two hubs on the front end but there are no hubs on the back...i checked the lh as well and it was the same...Just wondering if this is normal and how the wheels are supposed to locate if they aren't supposed to locate on the studs??

cheers

i have always been under the impression that the hub is there to locate and take the load of the rim.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work like that...even factory rims are a bit too sloppy in that regard...so its just up to the taper of the wheel nut to centre it.

I want to see about these hubrings that go over the hub and fit into the centre bore of the rim or mag to positively locate it.

We have now worked out that All wheels on GM should be Hub locating, front & rear and are now making locating rings from Alloy to suit.

Cheers Trav
