Hey guys does any one know of any LC or LJ's that have had the either 1jz or 2jz toyota turbo six conversions. If so any info and pics is appreciated. Cheers :spoton:

There's a blue lj in QLD running low 10's with a 2jz,apparently the hasn't even started to push on it yet.If I could have sold my 5l efi engine for decent cash I would have fitted a 2jz in mine but I dont think it's going to happen for me when the new laws come in but a 1jz will be legal.I havent seen any 1jz's in a lc/j,just in an lh/x in a mag awhile ago.

Why is it that the 2jz engine will be affected in the new laws its only a 3ltr.

Why is it that the 2jz engine will be affected in the new laws its only a 3ltr.

The new laws will allow approx 2.8Ltr turbo in LJ's

As far as i know the new law hasnt started yet so speak to your engineer.

Hearsay is that they are trying for January but they still haven't got come to an agreement on the rules.That is what I was told from John V (engineer) about 3 weeks ago.

what about lc's? dont they fall under a different bracket to lj's in the adrs?

yes because they are lighter

I think it's 2.6litres for a lc.

Hi can i still fit a 5litre in a lc when these laws start ,what weight is a lc 4door is it 1100kg because have been told cars that weight 1100kg and up original weight x 5.0=max is the engine size max and turbo is x 3.0 please help before i wast my money on a engine .
