So, I just had a idea floating around in my head. Why Holden never fitted the same handbrake in the same position as HQ-WBs? Has anyone ever done this? I'm not looking to do it, I dont mind the underdash foot park brake, but I havent even got my car here to see if theres even enough room for it. I know the done thing is usually buckets and a UC handbrake but for those of us holding onto the bench seat, it could be an interesting modification.

Between drivers seat and door? I've looked at fitting my park brake there but there isn't enough room. Even with smaller Saas seats i don't have room between seat and door.

I fitted one to a FJ panel van once with a Volvo/Dana rear end.
