Mmmm was sold a few weeks ago, I saw a full article about it and the new owners. Some ridiculous price as well that I will ask about again, I'm not gonna try and remember because I'll probably say something stupid.

I don't think they are having a sellout, I think they just sold that one car.

RED,
The Hamilton porsche was definately in the collection...pretty sure the Cortina was too but not heavily advertised....I believe that Moffat only ever had 1 PH1 GTHO..David got it back from NZ..or was that the PH2?..anyway...there is only 1 PH1 GTHO that Moffat raced...thats on the list..same with the Bob car from 72 unless you know more?...It was in the Norwell museum...off memory...
R

GTRXU1..It came second to Moffat at Bathurst in 72..

Just shy of a million k, hmm....

Does someone want to fill me in on the significance of this particular P3, I wasn't born when it was tearing around the mountain. Perhaps then I'll understand why its fetched so high a sum.

Peace,

Yes LX5008 is correct, these are cars he has sold in the past. I remember when they came and picked up the 79 A9X at Phillip Island in about 1999 at the historic meeting. That was agreat day watching Brock and Harvey have a bit of a grude match in the 2 A9X's. Harves won too.
