I heard someone talking about Mr Sheen the other day as a suitable product between polishes. My concern would be when it dries in the stone chips does it turn white as that would look crappy.

I think if you are using a reputable polish then all that is needed is a chamois and rub over the whole car with a soft polishing rag.

It was recommended to me years ago by the Harley dealer I bought my bike from.
It is all they used in the showroom.

We used to use it before a ride on off-road bikes/quads etc/. Makes it really easy to get the mud and dirst off with the hose later on.
As for car paintwork? ....hmm.. maybe just use a Bowdens product?
