Hey people, this is the first chance I've had to re-register at the new forums.
I noticed another guy asked a similar question but nobody replied.
What width of 13" or 14" size slicks could I fit under the read of my 2 door LJ with only the rolling of the guards? I was hoping to get 8" of rubber under there but I don't know if that's possible.

Mate I dont know if this will help but I've got 15x55x205s on 15 inch rims with a less than perfect offset that just fit under the rear end of my LC with rolled guards. Standard diff with a pretty low stance. I'd suggest if the rims were a better offset you could fit wider rubber under there.

you can fit a 15x8.5 slick under guard. You have to trim some of the guard away. I seen a lc gtr with it done couldn't tell in till he showed me where. I will get some pictures next Tuesday if I see the car.

At the rear of the arch where the line is,thats where most are trimmed but dont forget you can only get a 26in dia in there unless you have it jacked up high.
