You won't buy a new one
But while out you should be able to test it

More LJ distribution block questions
,I am replacing brakes on my LJ and am wondering how to remove the shuttle/piston from the brake fail block to replace the o rings.
I have blocked one port and put air onto the other port, hoping the shuttle would be pushed out. It doesn't move but the air is blowing past the shuttle. It seems the shuttle is jammed.

Next question is with the actual switch - is this switch extended or retracted? It is jammed also. IMG_0511 | brakefail switch | Smiling | Flickr

You need to physically yank the valve out of the centre of the unit
And free up the switch so it moves
Soak in metho for awhile

Hi Gents,
Problem solved!, I found the info in another thread, and pushed out the shuttle, with a 2mm punch through the front brake fitting.
Also i freed up the plunger on the switch and it now tests good. (switch open with plunger retracted and closed with the plunger extended.)
Cheers,
Luke
