hi Folks,

I have bought a new fuel pump for my LJ 202, but i dont have the fittings which connect to the fuel lines on each side of the pump.

Are the fittings size 1/4" npt ?

I'm figuring i can buy generic brand fittings provided i have the correct size info for each fitting.

Many thanks,

Smiling

The fuel pump tread is 1/8" NPT, but the fuel line will be something like a 9/16" UNF flare nut.

An industrial fitting company should be able to help.

I found the treads can be easily stripped trying to line the fuel line up.😬

Just go to a decent old school parts shop, where they still use the old parts books.

ed98af5aa5fd91abf0a8a4cdb72c4bd1.jpgIs this the set up you are looking for? I may have some spares. It will be hard to replace the outlet to carbs with generic I would think.

Thanks for the quick responses,

Yes, those are the fittings I need.

I should be able to get the fitting with the rubber hose barb locally.

Clay, if you have the angled fitting I would be happy buy it plus costs.

Much appreciated, cheers,

Smiling
