Hey Guys,

I'm trying to replicate the signage of Brocks '72 Bathurst Winning Torana and I'm struggling to find good reference photos of the bonnet. I want to make sure the 'TORANA' lettering is as close to exact as possible as well as the Armstrong shocks logo and then also all the colours etc.

I've attached a couple of photos that I've managed to find of the car from 2006 when Lowndsey drove it, but I'm hoping to find some more.

Can anyone help?

I've found lots of replicas out there, but the font used for TORANA is always slightly different.

The '73 Car that is currently for sale at Shannons - would this be the same? I did notice that the white stripe up middle of the bonnet is different, it slightly overlaps the 'R' and the 'A' and doesn't have the red pin striping either, so I'm also wondering if the lettering itself is also different.

This is the car I'm referring to: https://www.shannons...EF57QCN5O3P0CC/

Also - if anyone knows what the colours used on the car would be, that would also be really helpful!

Thanks in advance,

Matt

Looking closer at some of the race footage this arvo, it actually looks like the signage on the front of the car above isn't 100% accurate. The car was restored back in the day, so I guess it can be wrong.

The shapes of the 'R' and 'N' are different...

New one is probably computer generated whereas the old was done by hand
