could someone please let me know,   if it is just the nut that secures the short linkage to the wiper motor shaft.  there is a clip that secures the short linkage to the wiper arm.  But just seems like the nut holds the linkage to the motor.   Any help would be appreciated.    cheers Ian.

Just incase someone else has the same issue. I found a diagram online. It seems to show just the nut holds the linkage to the wiper motor spindle.
