seen many changes over the years it spent at HDT. At that point it had a supercharged engine and was raced in Rally cross events, It was nicknamed 'the Beast' I think and was one of the first toranas HDT had.
You can find it refered too in most HDT literature about the early days, Brocky used to race it alot

Australian Muscle Car Mag has been trying to track it down in the MIA Section but havent had much luck, id reckon it ended up at the scrap yard cause it was pretty highly modded and couldnt have been converted back to road use easily.

don't have a colour chart
just started chiselling off 4 coats of sebring orange, plus the coats that followed!
from a lc gtr.
very similar in colour, but the photo is a bit ordinary on the lap top.
hadn't seen unfaded sebring orange before, quite a good colour.
just figure if you sort out the exact colour, it might help identification.

It was Rally Red..I pitted for Chris Heyer in the 2.2 VW Beetle rallycross car and have seen it.

I think you will find it is the Garry Warren and Smith car.
