Maybe dumb question but is LH SLR gauge setup same as L34m? I also have 1 with 160km speedo white needle so assume from LH 6 cylinder, G pack or similar. Any suggestions?

Speedos can be changed. I thought in Torana all cars with the sports dash got the same dash regardless of whether it was standard or optioned. Whereas in Holden (at least from HK-HQ) GTS got 140mph (later 225kmh) and all the rest other than HQ XX7 got 120mph (later 200kmh) speedo if standard or optioned.

Nope ..... In LC/J's, the GTR&XU1's came standard with the sports dash and a 120mph speedo (or later on the KPH equivalent) whereas if the other models were optioned up with the sports dash they still came with a 100mph speedo, etc.

I was talking about LH-LX as per the original question. Didn’t even think about the earlier Torana. Good to know though.

L34 had a unique tacho because of the twin points too.

From memory the L34 tacho did not have the cylinder selection switch on the back of it. Making it somewhat unique?

Yes, the U21 unique sports dash is the 4cyl with 7 figure odometer. The L34 just used the 4cyl U21 sports dash with 6 figure odometer - the pre ADR18 dash for 4cyl cars optioned with U21.
