I recall seeing a prototype at Terry Dowel's musuem quite a few years ago so I went digging through my photos. Turns out the one I saw was Prototype 4 - which was the first of the Aussie builds...

Donnelly, under the user name JP-481 (prototype 2 rego plate), had a thread trying to promote his fake on the FB EK site since 2010. He also faked EK#1 tag (1961). The paint code on the tag he used was a 1962 only colour. Not the sharpest tool….

Well there you go.

This faking has spread from HO's to fast Holdens and now to just about everything. Wonder how the purchaser determined they'd been had?

talking to a couple of blokes about this car , few years back 

they were asked to check authentisity  but before they did had to sign a nondisclosure form 

for what i was led to believe it was not what was stated
