Hi All
The bonnet hinges on my LC are worn and have a bit of play in them.
Just wondering if I take them off and hit the rivets with a steel mallet and chisel will this tighten them and make any difference?

Yes, but if the holes are out of round you will still have problems.
I have used the rare spares/Resto County hinges and they are very good.

Vinneys sold reconditioned re riveted originals ,they may still do them.
