It's been a loooooooong time since I've popped my head in the forum-

But really looking forward to catching up with all the old crew. It's been too long.

Also super happy to have our family business, Gassed Automotive, back as a sponsor of the event. It's something that's been a huge part of our lives since 2003 (it was actually the first ever car show I entered!)

there will be plenty of offstreet parking and room for everyone

 

Please message me for my address in Denham Court NSW 2565 , which is only a few minutes off the Hume hwy and easy access back on the M7 for

the trip up to Maitland

Another fest done and dusted.

Flew down Friday arvy

Stayed at the regular Maitland City Motel, where we got a stage view of the cruise briefing.



I’m sure somebody got some better pics of the cruise than me. Was an awesome cruise route, through the county, to the air field.

This morning was awoken to a symphony of f’ing engines and a fumbling looking for his keys and tampons.

After a couple of extra hours sleep. Off to breakfast.




Arrived at the show. Geez, talk about a turn out, easily the biggest I’ve ever seen. The claim was 567 but unfortunately mine didn’t make it. :(

Some special cars. This one has its own special spot. Was pretty nice.






Corey seems to have taken on Pop’s role with the level of memorabilia over his display.



Nice race car.





To further clarify the 566 cars on display, can definitely knock at least 40-50 off that due to the number of UC’s on display.






This one even tried to explain why it should be considered a ‘Torana’!





I was hoping to get my breast signed by the owner of the best UC in the county, but his star status is out of control!!!

This is about as close as I could get without being pushed aside by screaming fans! Really should have been on the centre stage!



After walking about 8kms to see all the cars, had got up a bit of a thirst, so walked another km over the road to find a watering hole.

This ripper was out in the car park, along with a couple of more real Toranas.




Found this little establishment, but didn’t open till 12… weird.




So we took a little sight seeing tour of town to kill some time.

Yes was a good turnout announcer was saying most torries they've had so far.

First Toranafest I've been to was surprised how much the cousin & I enjoyed although was big drive there & back with only couple hours sleep when finished work night before.

I'd happily go again.

Cheers to the HVTC for another great run weeekend and Toranafest some really great looking cars and a big thanks to Tony (tsn 007) for giving me the keys to his hatch and letting me drive it to Maitland from Sydney and back your a bloody legend mate see you all next time

Just another great event that gets bigger every time 

when you see 350 Toranas pull into an airfield 

its pretty special i think im 18 again ,far from it though 

For me it was the best one so far i got to drive a Torana in the cruise and to the show 

happy days
