Where’s the best place to position car stands for both front and rear on an LX four door?

I Jack it from the front in the middle of the cross member and the rear on the centre of the diff housing.

Depends what you intend doing.

If i was just pulling wheels off, my stands would be placed safely under each side front LCA and rear under each side of the axle housing.

Yes, my response was with regard to getting the whole car up off the ground, as attached picture.
In this case i was not working on any suspension components...

The safety stands would be positioned differently if i was removing suspension....they would be placed under the vehicle subframe structure to support the body.

As Jaso says. Get 4 x quality stands, not cheap Chinese junk. They might be made in China but buy good ones.

One under each rear axle tube and one under LCA. If you want to work on the front suspension try some large timber blocks under the front crossmember, like buy an 8" x 3" treated pine sleeper and cut it to like 400mm lengths and stack them 3, 4, 5 or 6 high.

If I'm doing something like the above and plan to get under the car I also like some extra insurance. Like sticking stacked wheel/tyres so they are just under the sills so if something goes wrong the car falls onto the wheels not you.

This pic is supporting the vehicle under the front subframe of body, that i may have been working on front suspension.

Workin on the ass end suspension, using stands under the rear towbar which is bolted to the vehicle subframe.

One nice torrie there jaso. I put rear stands under the rail just in front of the forward spring mount. Fronts under the A-pillar bottoms, near as possible.
