What a shit outcome!
I grew up there & all they had back then was Woana park, think thats how its spelt, anyway it was the Swan Hill speedway, over the river across from the Fed. Locals will know what that is 
The new drag strip,speedway & all the other tracks was looking awesome for a great country motorplex.
But sounds like they had the wrong people planning the dragstrip.
Haven't lived there for many decades but still have close family there.
People aren't happy with it but not sure what the fix is.
