For those of us with LH,LX and UC...I have found a cheap and easy way to fill those holes on top of the front Chassis rails (next to your cyl heads). When ever a Holden dealer fits a rear towbar to a Commodore ute they remove and discard a rubber bung (for wiring) which exactly fits neatly into these holes....I found the bungs lying around on the floor at my work one day and took them home to fill the holes and hey presto exact fit....so I looked around and found 3 more...
here is a link to how they look.

Those rubber ones sound the go. Never liked the metal ones. Those grommets might suddenly become rare!

Hi LXchev366.

Thanks for sharing that with us all. I know a good few who are looking for a some sort of filler for those damn holes.

Cheers
Herne

Thanks all
If you ask the right way at a holden place...ask to speak to the "Pre Delivery" mechanic and he may have kept some...if not ask him to keep them for you...failing that go to spares and look them up...(I dont work for holden anymore)
The bungs are on a vertical panel on the underside of the tray just behind the spare wheel...when you get to a holden place stick your head under a new ute (that dosent have a tow bar) to see what I mean...

the first person to get one...tell me how you got on...

Thanks for the tip LXChev366, might have to see if I can get a few of them... Failing that, I wonder if there's any small wheel centrecaps that would fit...
