I reckon the idea for the 2 holes would be to stop chafing of the lines.
The pressure line will definitely move a bit when you push the pedal in.

Here's what i did Kimbo. I drilled out the threaded post for the old rat trap with a holesaw and put the reservoir hose through it (top circle)
The clutch line I ran through a grommet in the steering column firewall plate. As above, i would keep them seperate so they don't rub.
I found Mal great, you just need to persevere on the phone. i did have trouble reaching tham at times, but when I did get hold of them by email or phone, the info was great and I wasn't rushed off the phone. Above is how he suggested doing it, so far so good after 400kms or so with a TKX. The only hard bit was bleeding the line, there's not much room to get the line pointing up to get all bubbles out. I got it done with a heap of swearing.

Mine is pretty similar to Sam's above.
Holes in about the same places and reservoir mounted to the master cylinder.
I have spoken to Mal on the phone a few times, he usually doesn't answer the phone but someone else does and I get to talk to him.
I have also spoke to Paul and he is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Keep trying and you will get the answers you need.
I would suggest a bleeder extension on the gearbox to make things easier.
Also, nice engine bay Sam.

Thanks Tom - and yes, one of the many little fixes I have on the whiteboard in between driving it, is a permanent bleeder extension up in the engine bay.
Time again, i would also have had that bulkhead terminal in the same hole as the original fan switch wiring rather than drilling a new one, as I don't need that now (have an underdash set up), but like the look of the old school fan/heater box.
