Repair cylinder sleeves. Which ones and where to get.

Dear Torana friends,

 

 

When i bought my Torry back in 2009 some bloke sold me a used red 308 short block for 500 AUD.

 

Later at home without any knowledge of Holden things the engine shop found out that the block was already worn and 0.060" over.

 

Now i would like to know what repair cylinder sleeves are been used for the Red 308 in the past ?

 

Are short block Chevy sleeves are the same ? ( Thinking about order from USA ) Or getting them from a German US Parts dealer.

Can you re-sleeve a 308 block... Not sure?

Yeah you can, I have a 308N block here with 8 x sleeves in it. Here is an example on Ebay, set of 8:
