Castlemaine Rod Shop Commodore Hub adaptor

Putting my front end together and I notice with the Rod Shop Hubs, the supplied bearings don’t fit my HX Stubs. Extremely tight, are they meant to be tight? As in both inner and outer bearings need to be pressed on? Doesn’t seem right.

The cones need to be pressed into the hubs.
The usual method though was to find a suitable socket or piece of pipe and hammer them in.
You will need that for pressing too
The inner roller sections should be a neat slide fit on the stub axle.

No worries mate, I have also realised that it is a Hub to suit VB-VR Commodore, this is a dumb question I am sure, what is the difference in diameter between a VB-VR Commodore Stub and a HX.

Pretty sure bearings and seals will be the same.
But there will be a difference in the flange offset.
And the PCD will be different for the studs.
Cant interchange the wheels.
