Hi All

Now I have finished the LC project, I am thinking of painting my double garage floor as it has a lot of marks on it.

Has anyone done this? Does it look good? They say Epoxy paint is the best. Any suggestions on the best product to use.

Cheers

John

Thinking of doing the same although polishing the concrete and putting a clear on it.

I just etched my slabs when they were new and painted with Berger floor paint. Has lasted years and makes it easy to clean oil etc off. It does wear and get marked but you can clean it and redo, I never bothered.

Hi mate, I used this ,from memory, must have been 8 years ago?. Just followed the instructions. It seems to cover about 75% of the claimed area. 2 pack in a common bladder, once you burst the divider inside the bladder, get on with it , as it does "go off" pretty well to the minute they say it does.
Dries ultra hard, seemingly impossible to chip it by dropping stuff. Makes shed a lot lighter inside ( I used the light grey product). Shiney , but not slippery.
I DIDN'T add the supplied ' flakes' to it, as I reckon it would make it very hard to find dropped little nuts and bolts.
8 years on, I can't fault it.
2 cents

Don’t do this. Looks great, but it is so slippery when wet.

Did you put it on a new floor Col, or was it old and dirty like me mine?

Can you add an aggregate?

I added a fine powder to mine, comes from the same company who sold the Jet Dry floor paint.

Newish mate. At the time. FYI I used it at another place too, on a reno..20 year old floor. Seemed good, but only monitored it for a few months, before sale.
